Automatic Transmission with Reverse — X-PRO Leopard 125 ATV

Automatic Transmission with Reverse — Zero Learning Curve, Full Capability

We equipped the Leopard 125 with a fully automatic centrifugal clutch and true reverse gear — eliminating the manual clutch-and-gear learning curve so any rider can focus on riding, not shifting. Back out of tight trails, reverse out of steep inclines, and navigate cramped riding areas without dismounting. This is full capability — automatic and reverse — that most 125cc ATVs in this class simply skip.

Automatic transmission removes the learning-curve barrier. True reverse removes the dismount-and-push frustration. Together, they make the Leopard 125 the more capable machine from the first ride.
119.6cc Guangyu Engine Sport Performance — X-PRO Leopard 125 ATV

Sport-Style Attitude, Real-World Utility — 119.6cc Full-Power Engine

We fitted the Leopard 125 with a Guangyu 119.6cc engine producing 5.3kW at 7500 RPM and 8.0 N·m of torque — sport-grade output matched to an aggressive sport-style body. Whether on backyard trails, farmland, or open off-road terrain, the Leopard 125 delivers the performance its look promises. Built for riders 12 years and older with a maximum load capacity of 198 lbs.

5.3kW at 7500 RPM and 8.0 N·m of torque — sport-grade output in a package that costs a fraction of a brand-name machine. The Leopard 125 performs where cheaper alternatives with lighter engines fall short.
Remote Kill Switch Engine Kill Switch Dual Safety — X-PRO Leopard 125 ATV

Remote Kill Switch + Engine Kill Switch — Two Safety Layers for One Sporty Ride

We built two independent safety controls into the Leopard 125: a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch for immediate rider cutoff, and a wireless remote kill switch so parents can shut the engine down from a distance. Two activation points — one purpose: confidence on every ride. An adjustable speed limiter adds a third layer of control for skill progression. LED headlight and tail light extend usable riding hours safely.

Two independent kill switch systems — one for the rider, one for the parent. Either can stop the engine before a dangerous situation escalates. Both operate independently so neither depends on the other working.
19 inch 18 inch Big Off-Road Tires 198 lb Load Capacity — X-PRO Leopard 125 ATV

19"/18" Big Off-Road Tires + 198 lb Load — Where Competitor 16-Inch Wheels Fall Short

We spec'd the Leopard 125 with 19×7-8 front and 18×9.5-8 rear tubeless tires, paired with dual A-arm front suspension and a hydraulic rear disc brake — delivering ground clearance, stability, and traction across rough terrain that smaller-tired 125cc ATVs cannot confidently handle. Maximum load capacity is 198 lbs, significantly above competitors at 132 lbs. Six color options: Black/Red, Blue/Blue, Red/Red, Green/Green, Orange/Orange, and Pink/Pink — with Orange and Green exclusive to the Leopard 125.

19"/18" tubeless vs. 16" tube-type isn't just a number — it's the difference between a machine designed for genuine off-road terrain and one that works on flat ground. The larger diameter, wider footprint, and tubeless construction handle what the smaller alternatives cannot.

Description

We designed the X-PRO Leopard 125 for riders who want a real sport-style 125cc ATV with full capability — not a stripped-down beginner machine that makes the rider do extra work to overcome its limitations. The Leopard 125 runs a Guangyu 119.6cc engine producing 5.3kW at 7500 RPM and 8.0 N·m of torque, paired with a fully automatic centrifugal clutch transmission and true reverse gear. No manual clutch. No gear shifting. Full capability, from the first ride. Built for riders 12 years and older with a maximum load capacity of 198 lbs.

The sport-style design is backed by engineering choices that make a measurable difference on the trail. 19×7-8 front and 18×9.5-8 rear tubeless tires, paired with dual A-arm front suspension and a single rear shock, handle backyard trails, farmland, and off-road terrain with the stability and traction that entry-level 125cc ATVs with 16-inch wheels cannot replicate. Ground clearance of 3.54 inches and a seat height of 27.5 inches position the rider in a low, stable stance across varied surfaces. Front drum brake and rear hydraulic disc brake provide consistent, progressive stopping across conditions.

Safety is built in from two directions. The handlebar-mounted engine kill switch gives the rider immediate shutoff control. The wireless remote kill switch gives parents the ability to cut the engine from a distance — a meaningful difference for families with younger or less experienced riders. An adjustable speed limiter adds a third layer of control for skill progression. LED headlight and tail light extend usable riding hours. Six color options available: Black/Red, Blue/Blue, Red/Red, Green/Green, Orange/Orange, and Pink/Pink — with Orange and Green exclusive to the Leopard 125.

The Leopard 125 is for off-road use only. It cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. Recommended minimum age: 12 years. Maximum load capacity: 198 lbs. Do not exceed. Adult supervision required at all times for riders under 18. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California.

X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Leopard 125, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a dedicated U.S.-based support team, and a full OEM replacement parts inventory stocked before the vehicle goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year against structural defects. Parts warranty: 90 days against manufacturing defects. Support is handled in-house — not routed through an overseas contact form.

Why Buy From Us

Company History

The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory — all managed in-house from the United States.

The X-Pro Brand

X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles — all sold with full dealer backing.

When X-Pro entered the market, the affordable powersports space in the United States was largely defined by short-term sellers offering products with no replacement parts, limited or no after-sales support, and inconsistent quality control. Riders who wanted reliable support had to pay premium prices from established brands. X-Pro was built to bridge that gap.

Why Riders and Families Choose X-Pro

For teen riders and their families, X-Pro answers a practical question: how do you get a real sport-style 125cc ATV — with automatic transmission, reverse, and a dual kill switch safety system — at a fair price, without buying from a seller who disappears after the sale? X-Pro makes that possible, backed by the same parts availability and warranty support that come with every unit we sell. Always ensure the vehicle's engine size, speed rating, and weight capacity are appropriate for the rider's age, size, and experience level.

This is what X-Pro is built on:

Accessible — a more practical entry point into riding and ownership. Supported — real parts availability and U.S.-based after-sales support. Accountable — dealer-backed operations with local warehousing and direct responsibility.

Warehouses & Fulfillment

We operate two company-owned warehouses — one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Inventory is stored, quality-checked, and shipped directly from these locations, giving us control over packaging, inspection, and delivery timelines across the continental United States.

After-Sales & Warranty

Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team — customers contact us directly through our website or marketplace messaging, and our team has access to inventory systems, warehouse operations, and product records to resolve issues efficiently.

Parts Availability

We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed — not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Parts orders ship from the same facilities that handle complete units.

Team

Our team includes warehouse staff, customer support representatives, and technical specialists — all U.S.-based. When you contact us, you reach someone with direct access to our inventory, our warehouse, and your order records.

Warranty
Every X-Pro complete vehicle is covered by a Limited Warranty: • Frame: 1-year warranty against structural defects • Parts: 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects (excludes normal wear and tear items such as tires, brake pads, drive chain, and bulbs) • Battery: 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects Warranty claims are handled directly by our U.S.-based support team.

Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Normal wear and tear, damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications are not covered.
Assembly & Setup

What's in the Box

Vehicle body (85% pre-assembled), handlebars, front wheel, front fender, brake levers, seat, tool kit, owner's manual, and hardware. Helmet is NOT included — required for safe riding, sold separately.

What Needs Assembly

Install handlebars, mount front wheel, connect headlight, install front fender, and attach brake levers. Two-person assembly is recommended for wheel mounting.

Assembly Time

Approximately 45–60 minutes for someone with basic mechanical ability and common hand tools (wrench, screwdriver). Apply thread-locker (Loctite) to all bolts before the first ride. Refer to the included owner's manual and the official YouTube assembly video for step-by-step guidance. Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended.

Before You Buy

1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You

After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate freight delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and the freight carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. A valid, reachable phone number is required for LTL freight delivery; without it, the carrier cannot schedule your delivery appointment.

2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight

Your vehicle ships via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse — this is not FedEx or UPS Ground. LTL freight delivers to the curb or driveway, not inside your garage or home. The carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment; you must be present with a valid ID to receive the shipment. Inspect the pallet and packaging before signing. If packaging shows significant damage, note it on the delivery receipt and photograph everything before signing. For severe damage, refuse delivery and contact us immediately. Curbside delivery only — the driver is not required to unload or move the vehicle inside.

3 · Assembly & Setup

Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.

4 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models

Before the first ride, check the engine oil level and add oil to the manufacturer's specified level if needed — the engine may ship with minimal oil from the factory. Check tire pressure against the values in your owner's manual. Use 87 octane or higher unleaded gasoline — do not use E85 or high-ethanol blends. The fuel tank holds approximately 2 liters; do not overfill. Inspect all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Change the engine oil after the first break-in period (approximately 3–5 hours of riding).

5 · Real-World Performance

Top speed figures are measured under optimal conditions with an average-weight rider on flat terrain. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, incline, and temperature. Heavy loads reduce top speed and acceleration. Do not expect lab-rated results in all real-world riding conditions.

6 · Storage

For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain or use a fuel stabilizer in the tank — do not leave untreated gasoline sitting in the carburetor or tank for extended periods, as it degrades and causes clogging. Store the vehicle in a dry, covered location away from moisture and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the battery if storing for more than 30 days to preserve battery charge. Before returning to service after storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and fuel system.

7 · Safety, Rider Requirements & California Restriction

This vehicle is for riders 12 years and older. Riders under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and full protective gear — helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity must not be exceeded (198 lbs). This vehicle is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or public property in any U.S. state. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California.

8 · Break-in Period

We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours of riding. During break-in, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the engine and drivetrain to seat properly. After break-in, re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts and change the engine oil. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.

FAQ
What does the warranty cover?
Every X-PRO Leopard 125 is covered by our manufacturer Limited Warranty: 1-year frame warranty against structural defects, and 90-day parts warranty against manufacturing defects. Normal wear items — tires, brake pads, drive chain — and damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications are excluded. View our full warranty policy at xprousa.com/pages/support.
How does the Leopard 125 compare to the Hawk 125?
The Leopard 125 and Hawk 125 are both 125cc automatic ATVs from X-PRO, but they differ in key specifications. The Leopard 125 features 19"/18" big off-road tires and offers exclusive Orange/Orange and Green/Green color options not available on the Hawk 125. Both include automatic transmission with reverse. If you're deciding between them, compare the tire size and color options — those are the most visible differences at this price point.
Is the Leopard 125 street legal?
No. The Leopard 125 is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. Suitable environments include backyards, farms, private land, and designated off-road riding areas. Riding on public roads or property is prohibited and dangerous.
Is the Leopard 125 available in California?
No. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California. We cannot ship this vehicle to California addresses. If you are a California resident, please contact our support team to explore other product options that may be CARB compliant.
Who is the Leopard 125 designed for?
The Leopard 125 is designed for riders 12 years and older who want a sport-style 125cc gas ATV with full off-road capability. It is particularly well-suited for teen riders building ATV skills, adults at a practical price point, larger riders who need more than the 132-lb capacity found in many 125cc competitors, and families who want a remote kill switch and speed limiter for additional rider safety oversight.
Is the Leopard 125 suitable for beginners?
Yes, with appropriate supervision. The Leopard 125's automatic transmission with no clutch management makes it accessible for riders with no prior ATV experience. The adjustable speed limiter allows parents to set a lower maximum speed for newer riders. The wireless remote kill switch provides an additional safety layer for parent oversight. Adult supervision is required at all times for riders under 18. New riders should start in low-speed, open areas and gradually build confidence before tackling more challenging terrain.
How much assembly is required, and how long does it take?
The Leopard 125 ships approximately 85% pre-assembled. You will need to complete handlebar installation, front wheel mounting, headlight connection, front fender, and brake lever installation. Assembly typically takes 45–60 minutes with basic hand tools. Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. An assembly video is available — search for the X-PRO Leopard 125 assembly guide on YouTube for step-by-step instructions.
What type of brakes does the Leopard 125 have?
The Leopard 125 uses a front drum brake and rear hydraulic disc brake. The rear disc brake provides consistent, progressive stopping power across terrain types. The combination is standard for this class of ATV. Brake adjustment and maintenance should be performed regularly — consult your owner's manual for inspection intervals.
What is the maximum load capacity of the Leopard 125?
The Leopard 125 has a maximum load capacity of 198 lbs. Do not exceed this rating under any circumstances. Riders near the maximum limit may experience some reduction in top speed and acceleration.
What is the top speed, and can it be limited?
The Leopard 125 reaches approximately 35+ mph depending on rider weight, terrain, and conditions. The vehicle includes an adjustable speed limiter that allows parents or guardians to restrict the maximum speed for newer or younger riders. Contact our support team for instructions on adjusting the speed limiter for your specific situation.
Does the Leopard 125 have reverse?
Yes. The Leopard 125 includes a true reverse gear. The transmission is fully automatic with centrifugal clutch operation — no manual gear shifting or clutch management is required. Reverse is engaged via a dedicated reverse switch. This allows riders to back out of tight spaces, reverse on inclines, and navigate confined areas without dismounting.
How does the remote kill switch work?
The Leopard 125 includes a wireless remote kill switch that allows a parent or guardian to shut off the engine from a distance. The remote typically operates within a range of approximately 30–50 feet — range may vary by environment. To use: ensure the remote is paired to the vehicle (see owner's manual), press the kill switch button on the remote, and the engine will shut off within seconds. The vehicle also includes a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch for immediate rider control. Both systems are independent and operate separately.
What color options are available for the Leopard 125?
The Leopard 125 is available in six color combinations: Black/Red, Blue/Blue, Red/Red, Green/Green, Orange/Orange, and Pink/Pink. The Orange/Orange and Green/Green options are exclusive to the Leopard 125 — these colors are not available on the Hawk 125 or other X-PRO models. Contact our team to check current color availability and shipping lead times.
What type of fuel does the Leopard 125 use?
The Leopard 125 runs on 87 octane or higher unleaded gasoline. Do not use E85 or high-ethanol fuel blends. The fuel tank holds approximately 2 liters. Use only fresh fuel — stale fuel degrades quickly and can clog the carburetor. For long-term storage, drain the tank or treat the fuel with a stabilizer.
Does the Leopard 125 have a front cargo rack?
No. The Leopard 125 does not include a front cargo rack. The vehicle is configured with a rear cargo rack only. If you need additional cargo capacity, aftermarket solutions may be available — contact our support team for guidance.
